bit of a zoomy moment!!
Couldn't quite understand this whole pole malarky!!
But we understand jumping!
Just having a bouncy, happy moment with our lil' ponio (half arab!) Sooooo pleased with her today. She's only been with us for 3 weeks and to be fair we really haven't done much due to work,school, dark evenings, etc 
Took her out for first time in company and she was a superstar!! OK, we only walked and did a tiny bit of trotting, but she went first, last and in the middle, with no dramas. She behaved beautifully.... even when we went across a big open field, at the top of a v. windy hill and one of the other horses had a bit of a tizzy  .
Then she did her first (v. short) group lesson with my daughter. Had another 6 horses working around her, so she had to wait for her turns to do everything and get used to other horses cantering up behind her etc. Again she was sooo good
Then she did a tiny bit of pole work - which she decided were just waaay too boring and jumped them instead!!
Just soooo chuffed with her!!! By the way, she's only 5 and my daughter's only 12 so I think they are going brilliantly together! |

lovely photos, looks like shes certainly getting the hang of the jumping, poles on the ground are just boring lol |

Lovely pics and what a beautiful shiny girl!  She looks a very happy and willing little horse. Keep us posted please!

Garnet - her sire is Hakkari (Mustaphah x Silver Wings Quality) and her dam is a purebred Highland Pony. Have to say it's not a combo I'd come across before!
