Posted - 22 Nov 2011 : 12:38:37 PM After the loss of the great Hickstead I thought I would try and get some of his frozen seamen to breed my mare with but there isn't any (not to average day to day people anyway). It was annouced in Horse & Hound that he was rarely put to stud as rider didn't want to risk injury. They were planning on retiring him in a years time to stud. The seamen that is left is worth a fortune and basically only the top top people will get it (if the owner of the horse doesn't want to keep it himself that is and who would blame him).
