Posted - 17 Nov 2011 : 10:05:33 PM hi im currently trying feeds to find the correct balance for my daughters 12.2hh show pony.
Shes 5 and is in need of some topline but she is also prone to getting very excitable.
Shes currently on conditioning cubes, dengi hifi and calm and condition, and global herbs calming powder.
can anyone reccomend any feeds/products for calming but conditioning at the same time?
Thanks xx |

Posted - 18 Nov 2011 : 9:30:29 PM I'd totally recommend simple systems too. My Dartmoor is on it and looking fab, i like the way i can give her a decent feed so she doesnt feel like shes missing out. Great for condition but doesnt send them loopy |

Posted - 18 Nov 2011 : 3:18:13 PM Have a word with the nutritionist at Simple Systems. Really good feed and very friendly people who will be able to advise what is best for your pony.
I started using there feeds earlier this year and mine look really good on it.

Posted - 18 Nov 2011 : 1:54:47 PM Rice bran puts on condition without heating, I would cut molasses from her feed as much as possible to prevent 'sugar rush'. Unmollassed sugar beet is also good especially with small ponies, and can be fed in larger quantities than some other feeds. |
