Also, as we must use the tool ECAHO show commission gave us and send our votes regarding a trainers representative for the show commission before 1st of December, as from the letter sent out, the ones who would like to nominate themselves could maybe contact me? I would try to spread the info as widely as I can, so that we know the candidate we vote for is willing to take the responsibility, otherwise we just vote blindly, better focus on the ones who wants to do it! In Paris there will be a meeting where as many trainers as possible should attend, and Mr Lacina and HRH Princess Alia will be present as well. This is a great chance for us trainers to have an open discussion face to face, where we can get to know what we can expect from each other in the future..
As I don't have other tools than Internet to reach you all, please spread this info on forums and by email to everyone who has a trainers license. All trainers should join ETHA as well, no matter of opinions, as this is the most organized group we have right now and we must be as many members as possible in order of shaping it according to as many wishes as possible!! It is of highest importance that we put personal issues aside now, and join, support and vote, as we now have the chance to get attention from ECAHO and show commission. We can't afford to make camps or ignore any trainer, opinions should come later, now it's about finding a good person who can stand up for us all!!"

Posted - 14 Nov 2011 : 08:10:47 AM I have now collected so many email addresses over the last days, thanks a lot to all the helpful handlers!, there are still a few names in the UK that I'm missing, if you know you have a license ad didn't send me your email address, please do! As horses don't have a voice, as mentioned, it is important that you all use yours and help with ideas on how to improve, what's already good and other wishes like seminars and so on. I need all handlers from the very "smallest" up to the professional one so that we can have all opinions heard!, Please help me!
I hope to send out an email tonight, and will update the ones who send me their email addresses later! All the best Johanna

It's important that nobody gets excluded, I rally want to reach out to you all, and it's also important to be a member of ETHA, as through ETHA we can have gat discussions about improvements and ideas, and also praise what is working very well, to give hard working organizers, handlers and owners positive energy. I believe in that way we can change far more than like it's done now, without structure:) Help me with support guys!!!!

Posted - 09 Nov 2011 : 12:54:09 PM I think the more we talk openly and LISTEN too, the better-otherwise each side is just waiting for the other to "shut up" so they themselves can shout back, with no actual INPUT reaching either for consideration! Regarding ETHA, I would just clarify that it is not a prerequisite for being handler's permit holder representative- all that is required IS precisely that the voters/representative BE ECAHO handler permit holders. For ETHA also, anyone can be a member (as I understand it) but ONLY a permit holder can vote within ETHA itself. I know Johanna is trying to get everyone together, and wish her well with her good intentions.
