Took our Donkey to Stanhope Show today, its our local one so its nice to support it, we came 3rd out of 3 in the gelding class, judge said he was too fat and he didn,t want to trot  buy we did win the best local Donkey prize so we came home £15 in credit, had a lovely day and Donk even did the grand parade , he was a star |

Thankyou for your lovely comments, yes i still hang my rosettes up too OH has asked if i will iron the rosette for him as its a bit scrumpled from being in his pocket, hope i don,t burn it |

Very smart Donk, well done. Callisto we never grow out of pinning up rosettes, I'm an OAP and still do it.

Awww, he's lovely, Donk you're a star. How dare the judge say you are too fat; you look perfect to me. Maybe that's why I am not a donkey judge!!!!

If only my other half would fall in love with a donkey, rather than his laptop. Apparently I need to grow out of my Pony Club mentality and stop pinning my rosettes up all over the kitchen  , so I totally understand your husband taking them to work to show everyone |

Thankyou, handler is my OH hes not horsey but loves his donk and dose very well considering how stubborn donks can be, he was so pleased with his red rosette that he took it to work with him this afternoon |
