My girl Talky was put to sleep on the 15th Aug. :( she got worse in her hind legs, couldnt extend her tendons so was walking on her toes, droped weight considerabley and looked really unhappy and miserable. vets agreed it was kinder to PTS. :( She was 18 which is no age really and i bred her. she is missed.
Good News.....
Beaux (talkys daughter) who was diagnosed with a GCT on her overy, will finally be going for the op to have it removed. We have raised the money so she will be going in for this op in october. Sooo fingers crossed, in a year or two when her cycles and hormones settle, we will hopefully be able to continue the line. gives me plenty of time to choose a nise araby stallion to use.
My boy Barty (talkys dad) is doing wonderfully at 25. though he has had a quieter year this year, we will hopefully do some riding ove the winter /spring, with the aim to do the PR at the GHS next year. its been my dream to do it on him, but even if its only a 15 miler i will be happy.
