Vlacq Emerald Icon and Beth, her 13 year old Mum, have just placed 4th at the Petplan Area Festival. There were 47 in the class, 23 in Beth's division as it was split, and Beth and Connie were less than 1% behind the second horse. They qualified for the Petplan recently at their very first affiliated dressage competition and in addition to this they took 4 placings, including a first, at Trailblazers dressage last month, have won both the Prelim and Novice points championships at Stafford Riding Club, and recently won their first Elementary test. OH and I, and of course Vlacq Redwood Reflection, are all very proud of our young friends who are truly flying the flag in open competition.
Vlacq Emerald Icon (Princeton Mariner/Amadar Finale) is 75% Arab and a great advertisement for the Vlacq Performance Stud. She is still only 6 and we look forward to seeing Beth and Connie achieve great things in the future! |

Just heard that the 'Polocrosse' purebred Vlacq Malika Kayal has just upgraded to advanced endurance for her new owners Loraine and Martin.
Just what we love the Vlacqlettes out there doing their stuff. |

Thanks for the info Sue, I watched her test on live feed too and was very impressed. A true partnership, home schooled and home produced, a great advert for a high percentage arab part bred. You can see grandad Serr Mariner in her way of going, very rythmic. not to mention our lovely old fellow her sire 'Prinny'. Her dam's other youngsters are just starting their ridden carrers too.
