Posted - 11 Aug 2011 : 9:36:57 PM Just had to share this photo snapped this week of our Anglo mare and her Anglo filly, in perfect step... right down to the 'half interested elsewhere' ears
Filly is 2 months old now and moulting in strange patterns, but we are smitten |

Posted - 16 Aug 2011 : 7:23:55 PM what about synchronised SLEEPING..... these are four Highlands at my yard
Euan had only just laid down, so he hadn't quite collapsed flat out! You can just see Roger in the top left - I was walking through the field with him when I saw that a mysterious sleeping sickness had overcome the natives so I unclipped his rope and asked him to wait while I ran down with my phone to snap this; he didn't move until I got back!

Posted - 16 Aug 2011 : 1:09:08 PM Am loving the pics. Seems the ears are quite the challenge to get in sync. Look forward to more submissions! |

Posted - 12 Aug 2011 : 08:43:36 AM Emma's new, we won't sack her just yet Quorabian - I love the patchy phase too - most people hate it but I think it's a lovely time. They live very naturally too, out 24/7 but all four are lovely curvy babies with plenty of character. They have recently taken to having a morning meeting in centre of field, well away from grown up ears, to plant the day's antics |
