Posted - 09 Aug 2011 : 8:37:10 PM There was a thread a few weeks ago about this but I haven't been able to find it. Opinions seemed to vary from as long as the hay was dried properly it is stable and could be fed almost immediately though it should be introduced gradually with the old hay if possible. One person mentioned an old farmer that thought 2 yr old hay was the best, though I think the average was 6 weeks. If I find the thread I'll post the link. |
