Posted - 20 Apr 2011 : 10:06:58 AM Obviously it would be helpful and straightforward to publish a list of those that had their percentages worked out, people wanting to have their horse's Crabbet percentage would still have to get them accredited by the Crabbet Society.
As we know, allbreedpedigree isn't necessarily correct, but at the moment that's the only source I know of for 'the man in the street'. |

Posted - 20 Apr 2011 : 09:58:54 AM I did enquire about this years ago and was told they work out each horses % individually and I was given the impression that they didn't keep a public record.
I thought it would make sense to have a printed pedigree for each horse in alphabetical order with the % marked on, it would also make the calculations far easier if all you needed to do was refer to names within the pedigree. Obviously some would need more work here and there..... |

Posted - 20 Apr 2011 : 09:34:22 AM Yes, a webpage or a document you could send for (I presume it would change often) - I know some add the % to allbreeds bu it's not terribly secure. A list would make casual enquiries about %s a bit easier to figure out. |
