Posted - 16 Apr 2011 : 12:06:16 PM What is the latest date that you can blood test a mare for pregnancy? The mare I covered last year would be due around the 2nd of July,my vet recommended blood testing her and he has said she is definitely not pregnant, the blood test was on the 28th of March.I have just been reading an article which says that this would be too late to be accurate? She was covered on 4th August |

My estimate for foaling date with a last service date of 4 aug would be july 9th |

Posted - 16 Apr 2011 : 1:24:47 PM Thanks Keren I was just wondering if this was on old article and now blood tests can be carried out later? She has not come back in to season since, but if I took her over to the stallion, she might |
