Posted - 16 Apr 2011 : 06:35:34 AM Thanks to Kathleen, who kindly posted the pics, via Kim, Kim, owner of Kaz (CAS Kazurai, A's dam) and her son Simon, who took the pics of Aragon last w/e - please go to pg 2 of the thread "Is this too much for Aragon" and check out the pics of A and me having a lesson with Lovely Julia Buckle, and of Kaz,doing what she does best with her mum - looking beautiful and very successful in a top show! Very many thanks for all your help, Aliners, for posting the ghastly pics which led me to buy him, and for all the encouragement and advice since October 2010!! Looks good, doesn't he - even though I would say that, wouldn't I!

Posted - 18 Apr 2011 : 10:40:57 AM Thanks so much everyone! Arabi - you are welcome anytime - we're in North Kent - near to the A2 - hope your horse is less spooky than A at the moment - dandelions = ! Obviously feeling "well"! Re the 20mile ride - did a two hour hack y'day with more than usual trotting (on grass, up hills) and a little bit on roads. Walking the rest of the time other than a half mile sedate canter. He seemed quite tired half way round and then picked up after an impromptu chat with a couple of friends when we stood for quarter of an hour. Still undecided. Will try a longer one on Wednesday and a bit of schooling tomorrow. Rest day today - not that you'd think it the way he shot round the field, bucking and rearing in play with the babies! |
