Does anyone know where I can get a pair of these in the UK?
I want black in medium.

Meant to say in my previous post - I have a couple of pairs of Kerrits riding tights and they are very comfortable.

Anything not in stock I can get in in two weeks. Hope this is not considered advertising. If so I will remove.

Thanks Callisto, i am a big fan of granny knickers, us girls need to be comfortable think i shall try and find some riding tights.

Riding tights are probably best, but basically any pair of well fitting breeches - I really liked the old Harry Hall needlecord ones (don't seem to make them anymore, but used to do all my endurance in them). You need to avoid painful seams in the crotch area and folds at the knee. And they need to be the right length - I don't have particularly long legs, but I do have long thighs, so regular breeches are too short crotch to knee. My first pair of riding tights had a fleece crotch for padding which I wasn't overly keen on (particularly if it rains).

The right knickers are also essential - have made a number of painful mistakes on that front. Big white granny knickers seem to work best for me, Sloggi are pretty good.

What would be everybodies ideal pair of riding trousers, i did 40km ride last sun and spent most of it in pain, the ride was quite boring as well which didnt help with the discomfort.

Had a change of plan and ordered a pair of Goldfinch ones instead. Are these stretchy and comfortable?

Flow Rise are lovely fit
Slave 2 Magic Posted - 16 Apr 2011 : 08:22:21 AM
I've tried Three Lows. They only have them in white. I'm not good with white.
What are the Flow Rise Performance tights like?
Mrs Vlacq Posted - 15 Apr 2011 : 11:04:45 PM
Not a silly question
If you ever rode in old fashioned leather or split hide seat jods it's similar, but a modern day 'fabric'. Great for sticking to your saddle just enough, but I wouldn't say they were risky for riding. Closest comparison would be to the silicon nonslip saddle pads
You can however stick your own legs together in them... and noseplant onto the bedroom carpet!
So I guess you couldn't slip them into long boots for example, but would be fine in chaps.
Hope that helps
Nut Posted - 15 Apr 2011 : 9:37:20 PM
Is it daft to ask how sticky they are? too sticky as in unsafe for you to literally be glued on your saddle or just what you always wanted sticky? I ride one of mine in sticky bums for extra 'stick' but the jods themselves arent sticky at all...told you it was a daft question!
Mrs Vlacq Posted - 15 Apr 2011 : 8:39:20 PM
Try Dot at Three Lows - they come up large btw and are VERY VERY sticky!!!!

Have you tried Threelows Equestrian?
