Posted - 07 Apr 2011 : 11:09:56 PM HAven't used hoof hardener but have used Red Horse Field Paste to stop thrush and any other infection. I think this is fab. Totaly rate it.

Posted - 07 Apr 2011 : 9:19:59 PM Angelarab, we use it for soft soles on the only one of ours that suffers from it, works well, we do not use it on the hooves themselves, as no problem there. |

Posted - 07 Apr 2011 : 4:21:19 PM Are you using a hoof hardener because the foot is breaking up around the hoof wall? I only ask as the weather has been very dry it may cause the hoof wall to crack, so you may find they need moisture rather than hardening, Arabi's feet suffer in the summer due to lack of moisture I just run the hose on them once a week and put some Kevin Bacon hoof grease on them and there ok all through the summer now. |
