Posted - 26 Mar 2011 : 7:33:49 PM Isn't it a great feeling when a new horse just walks himself into trailer?I bought Ty .2year old Section D in february.Opted for a quiter life after years of arabs,(breeding and riding,)I'm still keeping the faith ,I have Grace 23yrs,crabbet mare, who I still ride!So started lunging ,tack on and sitting on ,all without trouble. My next plan is to lead him out and occasionally take him a trip out in trailer.Well we did the trailer trip today and he just walked in and walked in even quicker coming home!!.

Posted - 26 Mar 2011 : 8:46:37 PM What a good boy It is reassuring to know you have a good loader/traveller on your hands. If only to know that in case of emergency you can get them to the vet etc easily. Our land means that we box everything up from young so they all go on happily. It is however, REALLY upsetting and annoying when you give (loan/lease/place with producer) someone a horse that's great to load and travel and they return it to you with problems that can only be their doing.... it takes a long time to put right. Good for you for raising a bold lad, and wishing you many more adventrues

Posted - 26 Mar 2011 : 8:17:03 PM It really does make life easy if they are good to load, Over the years i have spent many an hour or two being patient waiting for horses to go on.
I have two gelding and one used to load so very well but now he makes us wait. The other just walks straight in without any hesitation thankfully.
