Posted - 11 Mar 2011 : 11:39:58 AM I would be very grateful to hear your views on Equissage - I have a horse who's been on box rest for quite a while and was considering whether this kind of equipment would be of benefit. So any help would be gratefully appreciation. |

Posted - 14 Mar 2011 : 10:29:15 AM I used one for Flash after he had a horrible trailer exercise and suffered from oedema on his hindlegs - that was the hand held unit and it was wonderful (we strapped it to his leg to use for short periods of time). I also used the big pad on him and was very impressed with the results.
I might know of one for sale, i'll check & PM you. I'd def say for a yard with a few horses - esp with your ridden ones - its a good investment |

Posted - 11 Mar 2011 : 4:57:53 PM I parked my sales rep in a corner while I cooked the kids tea round her . I had done my research though and knew what I could use it for and what price I was prepared to pay and on what terms... I do wish all of these companies would cut to the chase though. I think we all know by now that whatever they're selling be it windows, the old kirby vacuum cleaners (are they still going?)or these, the whole thing of cut the price, ring the manager and cut it a bit more then make it interest free credit, and "what the heck I'll take a chance and cut it a bit more even if I get sacked" routine just takes you to the actual selling price and terms.
She only got one cup of coffee too.

Posted - 11 Mar 2011 : 11:50:32 AM Good piece of kit but horribly expensive if you're not using for business too. Company use high pressure selling so you need to have a clear idea of the deal you want. I'll PM you my number if you want me to bring mine up for you to have a look at.
