Posted - 26 Feb 2011 : 08:46:59 AM I thought you'd sold out !! I've got one of Madeleines as well !! If anything it's possibly the nicest to use as the outer isn't as rigid and seems to fit better sooner. The others particularly the the BIG D seem to sit off the horse until they 'shape' and echo that they can gape on the shoulder. So thumbs up for Madge's Pashmina has worn hers to death :)) |

Posted - 26 Feb 2011 : 08:00:35 AM Hi Sheen,
Please get in contact with me about the cut-back rugs. The website is a little behind at the meoment due to being so busy making halters for people and rugs.
Feel free to call me on the number below anytime and we'll get you sorted no problem.

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 10:34:41 PM I like schneiders rugs, but found the cut back style to be a pain in the butt. Its gaping at his shoulder and the closure thingies at the neck do naff all to help. I cant use it cos the wind gets in there and kind of defeats the object. I guess its just Pats shape, but it didnt work for us. Their viking 2 turnout is awwsome on him tho :) |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 10:22:00 PM The close front one for my boys is fine as he is such a sweety i just have to say boo head and he just drops his and and goes through it like a pro but agree prob not as easy on youngsters |

I've got a Big D too. I've got it with an open front and it's been a fantastic hard wearing rug. Watch Ebay.com you might pick up a bargain :)) |

I've got 3 of these. Likewise I'm not keen of the closed fronts They are fine with the old hands like Ffatal but any of the youngsters it can be a pain especially with my bad shoulder !! They do the belly band one too. Again not too keen on that, Bedawi has it but once it's on he prats about he treads on it, straps are much easier !! They do do a cloed front too if you want. Annaiss wore the 69" this winter (she's 2 in June) and it's been great. |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 9:40:08 PM I bought a couple of Schneiders rugs a while back but found I/Agonia really struggled with the closed front - simply for the static that it created?!
Open fronted all the way now! |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 9:24:49 PM I have a few Arabian rugs, one is Schneiders one. Its lovely and fits so well. It goes over his head rather than have buckles at the front. |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 2:12:07 PM Schneiders rugs are lovely but you will pay a lot on tax if you buy them direct. Maj at the Arabian Emporium is doing her own range of Arabian rugs and they are brilliant - cutback at the wither and fitted especially for Arabians. Worth contacting her. Great price too! Her slickers are great too, I have the full range! Bit of a rug addict..... |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 12:10:38 PM These rugs are second to none and I wouldn't use any other. The stable rugs and turnouts are equally good especially those that have closed fronts. Horses soon learn that they go on and off over their heads. You can buy them from Madeleine at the Arabian Emporium or from Halter Ego. They are no dearer than top of the range English rugs and fit so much better and don't rub manes. I found it a waste of time trying to buy them direct as the postage charge was prohibitive. They ought to employ me in sales!! |

Posted - 25 Feb 2011 : 11:55:12 AM Hi Nissibay
the rugs from Schneiders are really good. The arab ones tend to be cut back behind the withers to avoid mane rub and their lycra slickers are fab (nice big eye holes). You can get them from retailers in the UK. They may be more expensive if you buy from the UK but they have had to pay the heavy import duties beforehand (which you will have to pay anyway). I have always found their products to be very good quality and well made. |
