Has anyone ever used this, a friend of mine used this orally for one of her horses as he would have repeated attacks of different viruses, it is supposed to be good for the immune system.
I have looked online at various suppliers but the price really does vary, is it because of the quality? or just brand name can someone help me I don't want to buy cheap rubbish if it is not doing anything but at the same time don't want to waste money, can someone shed some light please.
As Arabi is getting over his virus I thought it may help has anyone else tried it for this reason?

Holland & Barrett - Look out for when they advertise offers on TV. It worked brilliantly on my thoroughbred, looked a different horse after a month of having it.

If you have a look online they will be able to tell you who your closest supplier for forever living is. I hate the taste of the drinks but use the vet formula and the jelly its great for teething.

I use it a few times a year. I get a bottle and give him a bit inhis feed till the bottle is empty. I call it his *tonic* I usually have the Gin though

Suppose to have it myself but I cant bare the smell or taste of it but he eats it up in his feed.

I used to give it my mare who suffered Laminitis and she liked it also.

I use it all the time

Mine get a bottle at the end of the summer and again at the end of the winter.

I will also give them some for 3 days after worming.

Very good for post viral treatment.

As Smiler has said the better and more concentrated Aloe Vera the better. I use Pukka organic Juice. I get mine from my local organic shop.

I also have an Aloe Vera Plant that I use for putting on cuts etc.

Works for me ! Sunburn etc etc so it should work for neds.If it can be grown why not strip the spiky bits off and see if they eat it ?? Don't think its poison because you can get it in drink form.

And a well known brand with 'puppies on the roll' cant be wrong can it ? So it must be good for all areas !!!

aloe vera is very good for the imune system i would go for a well known brand like (for ever living ) i think the price goes on the quality as some of them are not very good the higher the content of aloe vera the more pricey it gets !

I think there are individuals who sell Aloe Vera products as agents. I have one who lives very near me who regularly calls me to ask if I want anything; I never do, but I've never had a problem that needs such a supplement.

It's available for humans in health shops and is very expensive I think for the quantities you need to take so not sure if it'd be a costly thing to give horses in the quantities they may need!

Aloe vera grows like a weed though. I've had to throw/give away so many plants!
