Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 7:24:44 PM Just a word of warning for anyone local to Bellingdon in Bucks.... A yearling down our lane has had it's mane plaited 3 times. No dodgy vehicles reported as yet. Such a worry... |

Posted - 24 Feb 2011 : 8:20:05 PM I live in the Peak District in Derbyshire.A local yard had everything taken ,hay ,rugs ,feed etc trailer and horse trailer, all but the horses. This has happened before in Derbyshire late last year. Also I beleive horses manes are being plaited prior to being taken.A 'FEED DIRECT' van was sighted. This van has been seen all over the North West(NOT CONNECTED TO FEED DIRECT COMPANY).Someone actually spoke to driver as his sat nav sent him up a lane,he said they were Eastern European. They also have people checking the yards, horses first. This happened in our area a couple of years ago. They also cut through very heavy duty bars etc.So please be vigilant and warn people you know whose horses are found with plaited manes etc. |
