Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 7:05:27 PM just thought i'd share my exp. with you.
my vet, is also a barefoot trimmer, so i had him out today to do some of my horses and he is coming back out again very soon to do the rest.
I am ever so pleased, really am so happy with the job, don't think i've ever seen my horses feet looking so bloody awesome. i should of taken a before and after pic, the transformation in my one mare was amazing. I am just so happy, and can't wait to see how they improve.
I've learnt so much already today.
He arrived at 9.30, and finished at 1.30, he did 5 for me today, it usually took my old farrier, 1 1/2 hour to trim the all.
Expensive but i can highly recc. him, as he is now doing feet one day a week. |

different vet, but he will be great to spread the word about the virtues of iron free hooves amongst endurance people and vets. |

Posted - 23 Feb 2011 : 11:55:09 AM All of mine are barefoot now. Including my gelding, who I bought 3 years ago, came to me with shoes held on with epoxy resin, his feet were a crumbly mess!He now has perfect, rock hard feet and goes so much better,no more tripping on rough ground. |
