Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 5:29:41 PM My 2yo is teething and starting to grab at things like rugs. What are good things I can put in his stable so he can chew them instead? I bought him a jolly ball but hes not interested in it one bit. Ive been giving him turnips but theyre gone within mins (he likes his grub). Any other ideas? |

Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 9:27:06 PM Oh thats a good idea! He sooks the baler twine on the bars of his stable I use to tie him up to and the string on his haynet. Might tie a leadrope on the bars. think if I was to leave it in the stable it would get sodden and he wouldnt touch it, hes one messy pup. |

Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 8:44:46 PM I twisted an old lead rope (without clips on) to make a really thick short rope with a little bit left long... Nabil loves it he throws it around everywhere..usually whacking an unsuspecting neighbour on the head with it |

Posted - 22 Feb 2011 : 5:50:36 PM I gave him a molassed flavoured likit and tied it from a hanging piece of string off his hayrack, thinking he didnt have anywhere to push against so itd take him longer. The entire thing was gone by next morning. He managed to push it up and against the part thats at an angle from the wall. He left the evidence. Too clever sometimes. There isnt really anywhere else other than the middle of the door, but thats not really convienent. Anything thats food orientated hel like...guaranteed. |
