helen and I went to dressage today I took xsara and ollie and helen took gizzy. Gizzy was the first to go and did rather well but a little unsettled towards the end. Ollie was next and he was so much more settled this time we even got our walk His marks were greatly improved from his first attempt and xsara was the last. We didn't have much time to warm up as there were only 3 people in between xsara and ollie but it suits her better that way as she gets bored and stroppy with flatwork if you school her to long. She would much prefer a good long hack or a jump in front of her. She behaved very well and the test went well. There were 15 in the class xsara came 2nd 
with a score of 62.61% ollie came 6th  with 57.83% and gizzy who has only been in work a week came 7th with a score of 55.65% I am well chuffed especially with ollie will add pictures when I get some from the photographer |

yes they all went well. gizzy was fine to ollie appeared outside the ring lol. Though gizzy wouldn't be gizzy without some minor hiccups :? :roll: She was with in inches of landing on the bonnet of the judges car with in 10secs of walking into the ring :shock: Then we went back into to do some canter work in big indoor that was empty after test and she took a strop at first, then after a few laps of canters did a major spook at a sign and almost had me off, some onlookers gasped but im quiet used to gizzys attempts to ditch me now :roll: lol. Was well pleased how she was riding in general lovely outline with feather light contact. :D |
