Posted - 14 Feb 2011 : 12:01:58 PM I am having Arabi blood tested for everything today, he started to get a snotty nose and his breathing was not right about 3 weeks ago, which panicked me as last time this happened he had an awful Guttural Pouch infection although it didn't affect his breathing last time, so a trip to the vets to be scoped, all clear no sign of infection but his airways were inflamed and he was wheezy so a tub of Ventipulmin ten days later and his breathing is no better so the only option now is a blood test, I just hope it is nothing too serious so please everyone keep your fingers crossed for me.
Blood test back he has a virus that has attacked his respiratory system, I am so relieved I thought it was going to be something horrible, nothing they can give him for a virus he just has to rest and go in the field as much as possible, I have to call the vet in ten days to let her know if there is any improvement. I was going to get him a supplement for immune system can anyone suggest anything?. |
