Posted - 22 Jan 2011 : 8:04:39 PM Obviously there must be a reason that the topic concerning progeny of Bru-Bet Seradro and another stallion has been locked. But just wanted to fly the flag for Rosegay who is the dam of both my mare 'Aberllwyds Another rose' & my 2yr old gelding Aberllwyds Ibn Phariz. Sue it was actually me that rode Rosegay at your Mortimer Forest Training ride a couple of years ago although the pic you posted is obviously an older one with Sarah or Kath Rawnsley on board a few years ago. She is now back with the Rawnsleys although she was with me here for 12 months with her baby Ibn Phariz (by Phariz)and then went out and did a couple of EGB rides with me once foal was weaned. As you will know, Rosegay was an advanced endurance horse as is now her daughter above Another Rose. Most notable is another daughter Aberllwyds Briar Rose who was National Endurance Champion 2010 she also has other progeny competing in endurance. How timely that just this morning I received in the post a Broodmare Diploma Certificate from the British Equestrian Federation awarded to Rosegay for her son Aberllwyd Ibn Phariz who scored a First Premium when I took him to last years Futurity Awards. Posted - 24 Jan 2011 : 10:32:46 AM Hi so who is the dam of your hors? have you any pictures be interested to see any similarities to either of mine. My friend Tricia who also posts on here has Madryn Daraska but I don't think she's related to yours but obviously came from same stud. Rosegays daughter and son are the two bays on the left and right of my sig pics. Sue

Posted - 22 Jan 2011 : 10:37:43 PM Hi Sue
As I was reading your thread, I realised that I recognised your horse's dam and sire and after checking Allbreeds, realised that Rosegay is the full sister to my horse's sire, Madryn Warrior!
What a small world! |
