Posted - 19 Jan 2011 : 09:36:43 AM If i put my net in a bin at night with a kettle of boiling water, can i leave it in bin all day to hang at night or best to take out in morning hang in stable ready for when he comes in?
This is not for dust problems, purley to see if after having haylage for two weeks and him loving it i now only have access to hay bales and he is not eating it, he was eating it fine before he had the haylage. |

Posted - 19 Jan 2011 : 10:15:18 AM I shouldn't think it would matter if you left it it will just be dry by the evening, many horses wont eat hay after having hayledge he will eat it when he realises there is nothing else. |

Posted - 19 Jan 2011 : 10:10:50 AM We give Pasha his steamed hay as soon as it's done and still warm and steaming... he loves it and so nice for him to have warm hay in the cold
I would be inclined to steam it, leave it for a bit to make sure it's not too hot and then feed it. |
