Posted - 08 Jan 2011 : 11:28:28 PM Hi everyone, I am a small breeder of Arabian derivatives in Australia; Sweet Honesty Arabians & Pintos. Although pt.breds they are of high % Crabbet (Grand Royal line). In between breeding and caring for my beautiful Arabians, I research bloodlines and am busy writing a book on the Crabbet imports, lines breeding on and achievments. I welcome any info and your interest in the book. Looking forward to keeping in touch with fellow Crabbet Arabian addicts. regards Robyn. |

Posted - 09 Jan 2011 : 04:32:54 AM There's a lot on Crabbet already of course but a new slant could be very exciting. There's always a new slant somewhere if you look for it, I'm sure. Good luck and I look forward to some intereting reading! ..... Rose Ennik |

Posted - 08 Jan 2011 : 11:41:06 PM Hi and welcome to AL, your research sounds fascinating. I have owned 4 descendents of Ringing Gold who was exported to Australia in 1972, don't know if he is part of your remit, but would be interested in his influence over there - all 4 of mine had a very definite personality (daughter, grandson and 2 great grandsons, only one of them left, and he is 20 this year) |
