Posted - 16 Nov 2010 : 11:02:09 PM Has anyone ever had one? I'm really looking for one of those very 'chunky-knit' waffle rugs (that really do look like a waffle - yum!) as an easy-wash/dry under-rug for the winter and wondered if these would be any good?
TIA!

Posted - 17 Nov 2010 : 12:20:35 PM I have a waffle rug that's great and hasn't shrunk with washing, I will check the make and get back to you! However my best rug for drying and general cooler/travelling rug, is a full neck rug I got from Robinson's for a £5! It's made from towelling material and is a very garish pink but is the best thing I ever used to dry her with. (They were a fiver as the sizing was labelled wrong in the rug, I just used another rug to measure for size and it fits her lovely), if they still sell them I would definitely recommend them! |

Posted - 17 Nov 2010 : 11:07:19 AM I agree, these rugs shrink so get a bigger size. They are really useful for travelling, under rugs or that in between stage when a light rug is needed. I think the fleece ones are becoming more popular though. |

Posted - 16 Nov 2010 : 11:06:32 PM I don't know about these particular rugs but every waffle rug I have ever had has shrunk A LOT when washed. So bare this in mind if you decide to get one! |
