Hello everyone,thanx for the pm's asking how she is settling. My laptop is still not working so I haven't been able to get to on to tell you how she is. I'm using a phone to do this so I can't add the pix at the mo. Well she loaded brilliantly an travelled well.we arrived at the yard and she got off the box very sensibly . Unfortunately the lady at the yard decided she didn't trust her horses with a foal. Even though we had arranged it months ago. I was left with no choice but to find another yard as I want her to have friends to mix with.luckily we found a nice place so 2weeks later we got on a horse box for the second time, not ideal I know but I had to make the decision quick so she could settle somewhere else,she was brilliant again. She has settled in lovely she is turned out with four mares one of which she loves to bits and they are best friends.she has the most wonderful temperament and has been handled so well by her breeder Caroline. All the other ladies at the yard love her and the kids all hug her and call her "baby" I can't believeive had her nearly a month already!!!!! The people at the yard can't believe how good she is, I'm so happy with her she was worth the wait |

Yes Lynda she is dong great, we had a few problems with place we were at!! Yard owner had a personality transplant from the nice person I'd met earlier on in the year.but We live and learn.she has an adopted mummy a 4year old coloured mare, she looks after Verona,it's lovely to watch them together!!! Hope yor having a lovely time on ur hols. |

yes Jen its only 6.40pm here although we have lost some hours as we left LA at 12pm and have only just got in about an hour, talk about time travel, I cant even travel acrss statelines without jet lagg ! |

I fair did a double take there Lynda as you are never posting after 10pm  ! Forgot you were away lucky thing, hope you are having a lovely time.
Don't they look similar?? I need to dig out more taken at the same age as Sheena's little girl. Makes you realise how quickly they grow up  !

Hi Sheena , so happy to see Verona is settling in ok, I have been worried about her as I didnt hear anything from Caroline.
Then I went off to Dallas , then on to LA so I am just back in Dallas after 5 days and see this thread , both Verona and Jens boy look like peas in a pod, so that must come from Daddy . you will have a life time of love and devotion from those two. |

Haha just showed my boyfriend the last picture of ur boy, he said Verona looks awesome there, lol I said it's not her it's her half brother lol |

Here are a couple taken when he was about 8 months old (January of this year).
They're not very good I'm afraid .
I'll start another thread with some May photos of him which are better.

Hi Sheena. Finally found your thread. Congratulations, she looks exquisite !!
I don't know about you but I find myself just standing and looking, marvelling at the beauty and not being able to believe this perfect creature is mine.They really have a way of getting under your skin, don't they ?
I was torn as to whether it was better to turn Kessa out with my 2 mares and have daily access, or turn her out with other weanlings but have no access till spring.
Finally the answer came in the form of the arrival of another arab weanling at the yard. The owner is really lovely, and they are to be turned out together, but close to the yard so I can have access to the yard and facilities. The perfect solution.
Please post lots more pics when you are able. Can't wait to follow her progress xxx |

Yes she is a pretty little cracker, glad you all like her, never thought I'd end up with such a lovely girl,she is a crimbo baby and she has a wonderful temperament, I've heard he hands down to his babies!!!! I'm so looking foward to showing her next tear. Rui helped me post pics via the iPhone so I'll try to post some more pics.thanx fir all yor support and kind words xxxxxx |

I've come back for another look as she's lovely !
Do you know she is the spit of my baby boy and I've suddenly remembered that I think she's a Crimbo baby isn't she? Honestly that could have been him a few months ago coming down that ramp !
