Posted - 22 Oct 2010 : 9:59:27 PM Duplicate certificates are easy enough to sort out - I presume the passport is an AHS one? - in which case they can look him up and issue a duplicate for a fee. Just check that the passport is AHS or at least bears his AHS cert no and check it up with Windsor House - certificates often get 'lost' when a horse's ownership paperchain gets interrupted... i.e never paid for in full, not transferred somewhere along the line. Gaps in the transfers are trickier to sort out. Not suggesting there is a problem - many owners think the passport is THE important document, but with the AHS the separate certificate is key. Hope you get sorted soon |
