Rosie (our friend Sue's mare) was sadly put to sleep on Monday. she had been battling liver failure for the last 3 months. the old girl had gave it her all but things weren't getting better and it was only fare to let her go while she was feeling ok. she was a beautiful mare who befriended anyone she met. she was also the mother of our three year old ' Fargo ' and she stayed with us up until weaning(she was a fantastic mum and a pleasure to look after).
Rosie you will be sorely missed by us all.

thank you for your lovely comments, i have shown this thread to sue today and she was deeply moved that a group of people that she has never even spoke to could be so thoughtful and kind. thanks again from sue, me and mum. |

Rosie sounds like she was a wonderful mare, run free now with all our beloved horses, over Rainbow Bridge. Better a day too early than a day too late. |
