We took her and her tap sample down and they analysed it and some blood samples and there was infection and her white blood cell count was up. She has been on IV antibiotics since admittance and has been scanned showing no signs of ulceration or legions. She is improving daily and hopefully will be discharged on Monday/Tuesday. Hopefully no-one else will have had much experience of this, but, if anyone can help at all, what supplements would be good to feed to support her recovery? She is given haylage and soaked readigrass normally, so no 'hard' feeds. I will obviously be talking to the vet as well, but any imput (and tea and sympathy!) will be appreciated and considered. I am also seeking to beg/borrow/work in exchange for a trailer to get her back from leahurst to preston (myerscough, I just started uni this week as well!) so any help or suggestions would he hugely welcome!
