summer 2008 was not one I'd rush to repeat with the terrible foaling of my favourite mare and subsequent complications with the colt foal in haemolytic crisis....
Well, the boy is growing up! Here is Valiant (as named by AL folks) snapped today in his new playground

I'd forgot he was by Mariner. Yummy. Definitely need to get Diva and Mariner together one day for my palomino National Show Horse . Valiant is truly one of the nicest youngsters I have seen for a long time. Just perfect. Cant wait to see him in the showring. |

Yes Saddlebred, that is the plan - he's almost 15hh now and nicely put together, very bold and with those Mariner paces he will hopefully make a lovely ridden horse. |

He is absolutely stunning. Beautiful markings and a lovely eye. You would never know that he had been through such trauma. I hope you are going to show him. He would look fab in ridden classes.
