Posted - 22 Jun 2010 : 2:20:55 PM There must be plenty out there!!!
The South East A-Liners seem to be very active in get togethers so I thought why not our region?
Wouldn't it be a good idea to meet up? Perhaps give significant others in our lives, not as enthused with the breed as we are, a break from the Arab world and instead talk to/meet like minded people!
We can arrange a convenient place/date/time to meet as appreciate many of us are busy with shows at the moment (I think Aug is looking a 'quieter' showing month). Obviously it goes without saying if people from other counties want to meet up too, great!! I was just thinking in geographical terms.
Interested?
Look forward to hearing from you.

Posted - 25 Jun 2010 : 11:21:04 AM Depends on people's horsey commitments....I can do either afternoon or evening...If we stuck with 15th Aug what's better....Afternoon or eve? |
herts_babeuk |
Posted - 25 Jun 2010 : 11:12:19 AM I cant do saturdays - mum can only do one 'horsey' day at weekends and its always sundays - as she has home improvements to do with her hubby on saturdays |

Posted - 25 Jun 2010 : 09:12:01 AM I think I can do either day. Are we looking at afternoon or evening? |

Posted - 24 Jun 2010 : 1:20:23 PM Of course Nicky! The more the merrier.
Jo, it would be really good to see you, bring some Tara pics!
I will check on the Dogs in the garden policy. I feel bad cos Nut said she is competeing on 15th, unless we can all do 14th? I will leave it to the majority......As appreciate not everyone can make the same day.
Have a great afternoon everyone.

Posted - 23 Jun 2010 : 11:05:31 AM weekend (preferably sunday) would be best for us - though in August, we only have one sunday free and thats the 15th august - all the other sundays we have horse shows.
would probably end up bringing my jack russell and dobermann puppy for the journey |

Posted - 23 Jun 2010 : 10:00:20 AM sounds great, i don't mind what time but can't do the 7th or 8th of August. Are dogs welcome in the pub garden? |
lottieherts |
Posted - 23 Jun 2010 : 09:44:05 AM Right, I have been on AA route planner and Leighton Buzzard is coming out about 45-55 mins from Lemsford, Chorleywood, Oxford, Northampton (Sorry Roseanne I was not sure exactly where you were so went for Northampton as quite north so thought if you were nearer then that would be a bonus!), Bedford, Edgware, Most of Herts (it creeps on an hour if you live in Ware area). There is a great pub by the canal called The Grove Lock (google Grove Lock, Leighton Buzzard and the Fullers link will come up for it). The staff are polite, the food is good and the setting lovely, particularly on a sunny day! What do you think?
I am happy to take 3 people the rest of the way if you are coming from the west via Berkhamsted area? What are all your thoughts on date? Would afternoon be good as opposed to eve?

Posted - 22 Jun 2010 : 8:25:47 PM Excellent!!
Significant others of course welcome, 2 legged or 4 legged!!
Lauren you know I would not miss an opportunity to show your lovely boy!!!
What dates are people free? Any suggestions on where to meet? I was thinking 14th or 15th Aug, but appreciate some people may be at Wessex show, so welcome other suggestions. I will look on a map and check out some venues. Country pub good idea?
The more the merrier!
Have a great evening everyone.
