Posted - 21 Jun 2010 : 6:13:26 PM Brilliant stuff! Used it on my 3 arabs all through the winter, its great for keeping condition, and is non heating so no extra . I use it soaked, just put it in a tub with some cold water when you do the evening feeds and its ready in the morning (or hot water will do it more quickly). I also use two spoon fulls in each feed in the summer as its great for coat quality (its really made mine look better and they're all greys, and my friends chestnut positively gleams) and they're all on powder supplements so it stops the feeds being too dry. It's quite economical as well, by the time you've soaked it a bag goes a long way. |

Posted - 20 Jun 2010 : 8:12:06 PM Hello,
I assume you mean the copra meal? I used this for all 9 of mine (though none were arabs lol) over the winter and found it suberp. It realy did keep the condition on them. I found it very helpful for my old mare who doesn't manage hay so well as it is a good source of fibre. It is also very good if keep your horses barefoot like I do, as it is low sugar, but high oil and fibre. I stopped using it about March as they all came out of winter looking so well, but will definately use it again this winter |
