Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 8:56:59 PM If you want to buy a horse. Apart from on here as she's not an arab. I want to advertise my warmblood yearling, but there are so many web sites and magazines that it's hard to know which one to pick. I have her advertised on coloured contacts, but then I lowered her price and I doubt the ad would be read a second time. The only way for me to get the ad back to the top is by paying another £20! It seems that a lot of internet advertising quickly 'drops off' page 1, so maybe a magazine would be better? Some advertising can cost a fortune, so I am trying to find a popular site/magazine? Any appreciated.

Posted - 22 Jun 2010 : 5:14:20 PM pets4homes seems quite a good site as its free but i know what you mean about dropping off the front page, but people do keep looking through if they are actually serious about looking for a horse rather than just browsing. |

Posted - 19 Jun 2010 : 10:54:48 AM I recently used an internet site. It was free to use and if you edit your add every day, it keeps it at the top of the first page. And you can have as many pics as you like. Will PM you the site. |

Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 9:46:40 PM I found Lily (Zahkira) online in the Friday Ad classifieds, by that stage I was trawling the entire net looking for an Arab, so I think a website is a better idea because if people are doing a search then your filly would pop up so to speak. |

Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 9:46:05 PM I advertised one of my mini shetlands yesterday in our local yellow paper and sold her by teatime it was £15 for 3wks with a photo which i thought was good value, i can pm the paper if you want.I would give this site a go as there are lots of people read it not just arab folk. I also have a trakehner yearling filly i should sell and thought i may try this site ( once i have managed to get a good photo which is easier said than done ) .Good luck in finding her a fab home. |

Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 9:36:39 PM advertising in Mags will cost you far more , much better to pay the £20 (a drop in the ocean )than to pay the huge amounts wanted by Magazines, beleive me this site has far more people worldwide looking than any magazine. it is not the fault of the site but may be a reflection on the over flooded market that you have not sold your horse yet . I advertised in horse deals, cost far more and then sold my filly through A/lines |
