Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 7:21:27 PM About 3 days ago Sunny had a fifty pence piece size of hair loss on her face. If you were to look at her side on it is just below her ear and at the top of her jaw (where you would do up the throat lash). It has got worse over passed 3 days and now size of an apple. Any ideas what this could be??
Thanks Michelle |

Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 8:02:56 PM About 3 weeks ago my 2 year old pure bred lost all the hair around her eyes. About 3 ins all round. Skin wasn't inflammed, no evidence of rubbing, the hair just fell off! It is now all growing back and all looks healthy and fine. It was never sore, no loss on any other part of her body, and no pigment was lost. All very odd. Hope you get yours sorted x |

Posted - 18 Jun 2010 : 7:37:24 PM my mare has the same and hers its from her rubbing her head on the gate post, so could possibly the flies irritating her and shes rubbing her face cause its itchy. I put switch on my mare other day and hers hasn't got any worse, the last time she did this was when she was a foal she rubbed her face. |
