Posted - 04 Jun 2010 : 3:06:56 PM I was just wondering the same. I had posted about HA on honeyb's thread.....
Nichole, if you go on the website you can see what areas the trainers cover. Sue Gardner covers the South East, Richenda Broughton covers East Anglia.... |

Posted - 04 Jun 2010 : 2:58:33 PM How did you get on with this...? Do you know if there is one around Essex or even Cambridge or Suffolk..?
I think Ozzy would freak out at most of it but it would be a great way of playing and letting him get used to scarey objects. |

Posted - 13 May 2010 : 3:04:53 PM I have never been to a play day so i'm really looking forward to this. I have exhausted the obstacles in my field and on our walks so Ruwi will be chuffed to bits to have some new toys to play with.
I think its an excellent way to get young horses who arent backed yet out there learning to be smart and brave.
Will let you know how we get on |

Posted - 13 May 2010 : 09:11:33 AM That's exactly the point. It's for people that can't/won't ride, horses that can't be ridden, too young to be ridden, outgrown or for people that want something to do on the ground as well as their riding.
It's adds variation and is great for building bonds through groundwork |

Posted - 13 May 2010 : 09:05:46 AM I did see this but to me it looks like Le Trec without the orienteering or indeed the riding!
I'm sure it will be great fun though. I hope you really enjoy it. |

Posted - 13 May 2010 : 08:22:48 AM Oooh, let us know how you got on? From what I have heard, horse and owner have been thoroughly enjoying it
The good thing about it is that you can do as much or as little as you want....great if you are not quite as fit as you would like to be
I like the fact that you have training/play days as well as competition days....
