Posted - 30 Apr 2010 : 3:56:53 PM Chips and his companion live out 24/7 now, and Chips is often dozing in the sun, especially when it is sunny and warm in the mornings.
Yesterday he was laying down and stayed down when I went over to him, I felt very mean as I needed to get him in for the farrier and he didn't get up until after I'd put his headcollar on...even then I had to ask him to get up.
Today he was also laying down and I thought that he'd get up when I walked over but he stayed down. I sat on the ground and we had a kiss & cuddle - then he gave a huge sigh and just flopped, flat out, with me sitting between his legs! It would have been lovely to have a photo but no one else was around.
It's such a special feeling when they trust you enough to be in such a vulnerable position!
