Can anyone help me with rug sizing for a 2 year old welsh section A please? We have been to see him today and are collecting him on Friday but the lady has never had a rug on him. I just want to make some preparations for him coming to us that's all.

This little chap is very 'bum high' at the mo and looks like he needs to do a bit more growing. I'll get one in each size and see which fits when he arrives.

My section A used to wear a 4'6 as an adult, having said that they were plenty big enough, but 4'3 was a bit snug. |

Ah thank you Delly-b. At least you have given me an idea. I'm at a loose end tonight so I thought I'd have a look at the 'auction website' at rugs for him.

It's probably very difficult to say but my neighbours 2 year olds don't look much different in length to my older gelding and he is in 4'3 to 4'6 depending on make, but saying that he isn't wearing rugs at the moment as he is really weighty... Hasn't had all winter...
