Crimbo thanks all for your kind words about his eyes
I do believe that a mark of a good stallion is not just how he looks but what he is able to pass on down the generations.
Carmargue did this and is still doing it to this day worldwide !
Crimbo has inherited this from his sire plus that something special he got from his dam too he carries the Ansata legacy being an Ansata Ibn Sudan grandson. ( something no other Carmague offspring has)
He is more than happy to let his children and grand children take over now and I think you will see his beautiful eyes popping up through future generations to come

.....I will never forget seeing Aboud, Ffatal Attraction, Vody etc......its spine tingling watching these wonderful animals showing off for US
Here here i was soo glad to have saw Aboud even tho he arrived late to his class...another legend sadly gone |

As you know jen, Crimbo has a huge growth on his neck.and in the summer months he looses weight because he is more attentive to girls , so no he is not going like that! anyway as I said he can always be veiwed at home |

I agree Bridie, it isn't a competition, no-one really worries about who the winner is we just love to see our precious veteran horses ! It is the highlight of the show for me too.
Seeing Djammal last year was something else and he's no spring chicken either  !
That picture of Crimbo is lovely, what a happy lucky chap he is .

The veterans class isnt a competition to us.....its a parade of the legends, how else are we ever to see them when you lot keep them all to yourselves!!!!

He looks gorgeous Lynda , have to say though that i think arabs certainly seem to get more ethereal and regal looking the older they get.
