Posted - 15 Mar 2010 : 6:53:03 PM For anyone in the Heanor area of Derbyshire. I have just seen on the local BBC East Midlands Today programme that a mare has been attacked by 2 dogs IN HER STABLE! Clearly this is deliberate. The pony looked to me as if she will recover physically, mentally, who know? She will never be able to raise a foal though as her teats were ripped off in the attack. Poor wee lass.
Heads up to anyone with horses in the area. |

Posted - 16 Mar 2010 : 11:21:52 AM How absolutely awful. The poor mare she must be in terrible pain. I really cannot understand people who do this sort of thing. Quite honestly it's beyond my understanding. They must be so wicked. There again why should I be surprised when one reads in the papers some of the dreadful things that people have done to their own children. |

Posted - 16 Mar 2010 : 10:07:49 AM perhaps this is a new sport for sicko's put two dogs in a stable and see who wins , the dogs or the horse, I am sure she must have put up a fight and kicked out at them , chances are the dogs will have been wounded as well, if this was done deliberately the police need to stamp it out quickly! my god man never ceases to amaze me at what depths of depravity he will go to , to get his evil kicks ! |

Posted - 16 Mar 2010 : 09:15:54 AM Some people are sick, we get quite a few dog attacks in the forest, and it seems to be getting more common, but never heard of one in a stable that is awful, A friend at the yard said she heard of a top racehorse being attacked last week whilst being ridden. |
