Posted - 17 Mar 2010 : 1:31:59 PM Hi Bex when I started looking my youngster was too young to start, she's nearly 4 years old now so have decided to stick with her and back her as she is turning out really nice (another chestnut mare) |

Posted - 17 Mar 2010 : 1:06:52 PM I started keeping a general eye out in April, properly started looking in May. I first met Phoebe in August, it just wasn't meant to be at that time, but a little patience paid off!
Have you had any success yet Marion? |

Posted - 17 Mar 2010 : 12:34:44 PM Glad you have found one at long last, I know you have been looking for a long time, but can you remember how long you were actually looking? As for chestnut mares, if you get a good one they are the best |

Posted - 15 Mar 2010 : 6:03:44 PM No, she hasn't had any foals. She would make a great mum though! I dont plan on that at the moment - I just want a really nice little riding horse.
Anything that you can tell me about the various names in her pedigree I would be grateful - It is nice hearing all about it! |

Posted - 15 Mar 2010 : 2:31:10 PM Hello Bex...Congratulations...she is a lovely mare!! Just in case you didn't realise...Silver Circlet was the dam of Silvern Sceptre, so Silvernesta was a full sister to him! Sceptre sired PHA Silvern Risalm and Silvern Moonlight! They are well proven performance lines and also breed on very well...she is stunning with very good breeding!! Has she had any foals?? Sadly, Silver Circlet who won her class at the Arab Nationals, six times, I think, but was never B.N.Ch, was sold by the Duchess of Rutland to South America where she died shortly after.. she was a lovely, very pretty mare, with excellent movement and a sweet nature!! Good Luck with her!! |

Posted - 15 Mar 2010 : 1:27:15 PM Congratulations, she's a super colour.
Argenta, Chestnut Mare 1969 by Kami out of Fretted Silver, went to Israel 1984, could this be who you're looking for?
Edited to add
If you search Silver Circlet on allbreeds it is this mare (you have a small typo in her family tree for Silver Circlet) |
