Posted - 28 Feb 2010 : 6:31:04 PM In February I became the lucky new owner of Seren and I just wondered if her breeder - Miss K Wilson was on here. I'd love to see pics of her as a foal.
She has settled in very well and has helped me through a very difficult time.
Hope her breeder is on here. |

Posted - 01 Mar 2010 : 11:33:09 AM Tina, Sambist is a horse I've liked since he first came over but its taken 20 odd yrs for me to get around to using him LOL My GAS Strelka is also infoal to him, all very exciting(and nerve wracking as foal waiting always is)! They are due mid April and begin May, I'll put baby news on here when they arrive all being well :-)
Yes Montikka and pop I do love to hear what my 'babies' are getting up to |

Posted - 01 Mar 2010 : 10:53:53 AM Thanks Lynda for telling me about this post-I only look on this site every couple of month now.
I can't tell you how happy I am that Seren has got what sounds like a great home, she was very loved and well looked after by Caroline but you do worry when you see them for sale.
Julie please feel free to email me or phone and tell me your plans for her and send pics, she looks the image of her mum in that one of her looking over the door! Her mum is expecting her 2nd foal this year, she's on loan to Anne Brown and infoal to her Sambist, she has some photos of Skala on her website www.gadebrookstud.com and there was also one of her ridden on page 87 of the summer07 AHS news if you have that. I have quite a few pics of Seren as a foal and yearling, I can send you, she is a very special girl :-) Such a pity she is so far away now though!
Her dad Balmaran is also owned by an AL member Lindsay Hunt 'Wildrose'

Kirst, I think that Krystl knows she is the lucky one to have found YOU! I am so happy that you have each other as no horse could want for a more loving friend.
They certainly give us extremes of emotions, don't they!!

Posted - 28 Feb 2010 : 8:38:26 PM Thank you if you could tell her Lyndilou that would be great.
I lost my home bred mare who was in foal in January to colic. She had two operations but in the end she lost her fight. It has left a terribly big whole in my heart which will take a long time to heal. Seren is helping me overcome my saddness and giving me a new focus which was what I needed.
She is stunning to show, five weeks to our first show together so will keep you all up to date. |
