Posted - 13 Feb 2010 : 3:22:46 PM I'm after some (budget friendly!!!) interlocking eva stable matting for my girls, especially as they're on box rest for 6 weeks and it's going to get cold again! I like the E.V.A stuff because it's much lighter and i want to be able to pull it up and wash underneath it on a regular basis. I have seen some for sale on ebay (it's new stuff), but it's only 18mm thick.Would this be thich enough? Can anyone else suggest where i might have a look for cheaper ones? Ros |

Posted - 13 Feb 2010 : 10:26:25 PM Hi Ros, I have a mixture of EVA and rubber matting. Not sure what thickness the EVA is but think its around 2 cm. Its great, warm and light but doesn't wear well with my clod-hopping, shod, 16.3 clydesdale x I use EVA under his bed for warmth and comfort and rubber matting at the front of his stable where there is no bedding. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages depending on how you will be using them. Hope you get an ebay bargain! Al |
