Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 11:18:19 AM I have received the following link by e-mail. I know that when Jaj posted her worries, somebody mentioned something about Witchcraft....Could this be the case?
Anyway, have a read of the attached and see what you think

Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 12:26:14 PM Hi Lisa I remember a couple of years ago that a lady not far from either myself or you had lumps of hair cut from her horses tails- I'm sure at the time the police thought it was related to rituals. Thankfully have not ever heard about any similar cases- just glad my lot are tucked in a field well out of the way! |

Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 11:44:49 AM Hi, I think I used the wrong word It isn't Witchcraft it is Paganism....
Apparantly horses are a strong link for them and give strength to their spells.....?
I have been having a little scout around and there are quite a few knots that are used for different results/spells. All very interesting but most definately a worry. I don't even like it if people come and "pat" my horses without my permission, let alone tamper with them.

Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 11:34:39 AM Lisa, a few years back there were a number of cases of plaits inmanes and tails in Derbyshire - it was linked to Pagan rituals - harmless but a worry for owners! God help anyone who tried it with either of my 2 Welsh one's - they don't DO strangers. |
