Posted - 12 Jan 2010 : 2:16:06 PM My daughter Beth rides an appaloosa gelding for a friend. I don't know if this is typical of the breed but our experience with Monty has been really good. He's very laid back, quite slow to learn compared to our arabs but a genuine good guy with a good heart.

my friend is a very knowledable appaloosa breeder and was one of the first to import them to the uk
