Posted - 27 Dec 2009 : 5:42:30 PM This is a message for Mandy and Ol. I rode Daffy for the first time today, he was a super star. I have been sitting on him for a couple of days now and then one of my friends on the yard led him round the barn the other night while I sat on him and he was a good boy. I decided to get on him this afternoon (while granny was waking up from her sedation so she wouldn't notice he had gone out of sight)I put his little bridle on on top of his head collar and tied his lead rope round his neck so I could hold on to it if needed. I jumped on by myself as he stood there and walked up and down the barn past granny a couple of times and then decided we would go for a walk outside to have a look. It was chucking it down with snow, he didnt even notice the scary muck trailer or cars and we pootled about, stopped for pics and did a bit of walk and halt. He was such a little star, he has really come out of his shell the past couple of months, the other liveries adore him as hes so cute and he will walk up to them for treats which is something I thought hed never do.
Hopefully these will work. |

Posted - 05 Jan 2010 : 8:42:14 PM Hi Zoe, I haven't been on AL for ages, too busy !
You've done wonders with Dafydd, and you're right he is a little star, he's obviously spent too much time with the purebreds though, look at that tail carriage !
Glad you're still enjoying him, though I now have to find a companion for Gabriel !
