That Polka was reunited with her mum  and it's a chance for me to reflect on the year since she came. Boy, what a year it's been!
Between me moving house 2x (moved out for six months due to subsidence and then moved back in!) Now my house is sold I move for a third time in a few weeks! Moving house 3 times in a year is not recommended 
It's also been literally one thing after another with horse and human illness and injuries...
I've also had to move my girls twice...
Phew! However! On a positive note...
My girls are in the perfect place...
I backed Polka...
Po and Polka are like Siamese twins, thick as thieves and happy as pigs in muck...
Non horsey...My house is sold! Yay! And my daughter got into Oxford to do her masters 
I just hope that 2010 means some shows and endurance rides for us, as we didn't get to anything this year 
And finally...finally! I managed to decide and buy those photographs taken way back in April!!!  How embarrassing it took me that long! But it's nice to get some new pics to celebrate Polka home 1 year today  Hope you like the ones I chose to print. I did like all 100 pics so much and it was difficult to decide so I'm getting an album (book) of all of them too.

Thanks, I do love that one of Polka, she's such a bright girl and I think you can see that in that pic. I'm having a lot of fun blogging her on my website, or I should say Polka is having fun writing her blogs! She might be little but she has one enormous personality! What a character she is

LOL It's too true! As you know Minx already knows how to open kissing gate latches and she is currently watching how I close the little hut that contains their feed. I know why she's watching...

Fee, H pop and Minx together would be mayhem; they could start their own 2 pony seminar series for other horses, bucket whinging, knot undoing, sliding between fence rails, shed unlocking, car contents theft, taking rugs off the fence with teeth and dragging to a muddy spot and stamping into the ground, emptying brushes boxes, how to open the rucksack of a passing walker to check for cheese sandwiches ... the list is probably endless. |

Tricia can you imagine the tricks H pop and Minx would get up to!!
Anne, I know, a year already, hasn't it flown! Please try to get down, even bring Smokey or Claire if you want and we'll get out.

Wow Fee a whole year since you have had the gorgeous Polka
That is fab news that you have sold your house, you shall be able to get moved closer to them now.
Hopefully you shall get out and about again in 2010
Your photographs were all fantastic i don't think i would have been able to choose quickly either.
I shall have to get down to see you sometime soon, never had a min in oct hols!

I thought your bay was gorgeous and then I scrolled down to your grey, and now I can't make up my mind which I like better! They've both got lovely eyes, though. Sounds like you're having a better end of the year than the start, and I hope it continues that way for you all. |

Sounds like 2009 has been a really tough year for you Fee! Great to hear you've finally got your house sold, the girls are in a fantastic 10 acre field and your daughter has secured her much deserved place at Oxford!!

:) :) :) Wow, a whole year with the Minx. She looks fantastic and so grown up.
This morning, 'H pop' opened the shed, nothing in there I thought ... no so. She finds a Bungie tie and starts pulling one end and letting it go so it twanged, so I rushed to stop her and found a big plastic bag of apples dragged from the back of the shed, about 5 half chewed apples and bits of apple 'gobbed' all over the place. I thought of The Minx :) |
