Query, on a covering certificate (For Appaloosas) it states Breeders certificate and covers who owns/leases the mare at the time of covering.
Should the mare be subsequently sold on, and then foals, who would the breeder be |

It is the person who owns or leases/loans the mare at the time of foaling |

with Arabs it is the person registered as the mare owner at the date of foaling, not the owner at the date the are was covered if different. |
