Posted - 27 Sep 2009 : 4:56:05 PM I'm pleased to say that Judith's GORGEOUS girlie Maj (Vlacq Majid) is going to be coming to join Marygold on loan with me.
I am SO EXCITED I can't tell you. And so pleased that, with all the horror stories about loans going wrong, Judith trusts me enough to let me have Maj. I can promise her though, that she will be treated with the utmost love and care, the same as Marygold.
My OH and I travelled all the way to Wales from Dover to go and see her. Just got back and still grinning!
Here's a pic of us coming back from a trial hack. She's very green, so we've a lot of fun and work to do over the winter. But I know she's going to be worth it. Watch out for many more 'between the ears' pics as she gets to know all our new hacks!

That's for sure! She's going to be a one human horse, so we're going to spend a lot of time getting to know each other. And she was striding out! Eager to go, and really didn't want to go home, which is great news for a potential endurance horse. |

Posted - 27 Sep 2009 : 6:21:48 PM Congratualtions!!
I'm really excited too, my friend has just bought a new brood mare and she's coming along hopefully next weekend with her 2 month old colt! I already look after a yearling filly for my friend but I'm going to be looking after Kasara too when she comes and hopefully do some work with her baby too! I can't wait!!! Have been to see Kasara up in Norfolk and she's an angel. Hope her and Rose get along! |
